Happy Birthday, Ian!

Today is Ian's birthday. He is officially in his late-twenties. We will be spending the day in Venice, saying goodbye to our youth, but since our blog is living in the past, I'll commemorate this occasion by showing you two pictures from Kyoto. Here is Ian walking on his favorite stone steps while heeding the advice of this wonderful sign at the Heian Shrine:

Happy Birthday from the Farang Team! Charlie told me he hopes you get lots of chocolate and that you share it with him because he looooooooves it.

Happy Birthday Ian; you don't look a day over 25.

Happy Birthday, Ian! We look forward so much to your upcoming visit! Tiara too! We will try hard to fix any potential footing problems beforehand in case of accident which cannot be assumed and so on.

Happy Birthday Ian.

I remember those stones from our trip with you several years ago. This was the most beautiful part of our trip there. When we were there it was snowing cherry blossoms and a Japanese marimba band was playing Clair de Lune. It was so beautiful it made me cry.

Hopefully you stayed out of the canals in Venice in your drunken birthday stupor. :)
